Dyad — a 15-minute contemplative listening practice

A paired practice in the style of Tania Singer's contemplative dyads — speak, and simply be present.

2 parts · 7 phases

Part 1 Opening
Intro 1 min

One minute of silence and breath to begin. Settle, and let the room grow quiet.

A few reminders before you start:

  1. Practice presence Host-paced

The Dyad is a practice of listening. Do not share your own story in response, do not reflect, do not offer advice, and do not offer feedback. Simply be present.

  2. Keep it simple Host-paced

If you need to schedule future sessions, just say hello, handle the logistics, and be done. There is no need to get to know each other outside of the practice itself.
